Model 1927 (m27) helmets
The Dutch model 1927 (m27) helmet was produced by two different manufacturers, the Artillerie Inrichtingen and Verblifa.
A m27 as they were produced by the Artillerie Inrichtingen from 1927 to 1929.This variation has a dark green color with a structure on the exterior.
A m27 as they were produced by the Artillerie Inrichtingen in 1930 and 1931.This variation has a dark green color with a smooth finish.
A m27 as they were produced by the Artillerie Inrichtingen in 1932 and 1933.This variation has a dark olivegreen color with a smooth finish.
A m27 as they were produced by Verblifa in 1932 and 1933.This variation has an olivegreen color with a smooth finish.
The Verblifa m27 helmets produced in 1931 had a dark green colour and smotth finish, as the Artillerie Inrichtingen m27 helmets from 1931.
A m27GE as they were produced by Artillerie Inrichtingen in 1932.The m27GE can be seen as the precursor the of the m33 and it is unknown how many were produced.
The m33 is characterized by the gray-green color and a higher cut edge at the level of the ears.
A m27GE modified to be used by the Navy/Marines by replacing the creast with lion for an anchor.It is unknown how many of these helmets were produced, but there were only few.
This type of helmet were used by the Dutch Marines in Shanghai in 1937.
