The AS-501 as it was introduced in 2014 for the Para's of the Air Mobile Brigade and the Marine Corps.

This type of helmet has been introduced as the Helmet, Para, Composite, M-Boa, O-green.
M-Boa stands for: With Boa and this is the adjustment system on the back. O-green represents the color, Olive green.

The helmet shells and interior are from ArmorSource and the chin strap system is from Team Wendy. These helmets are supplied by Profile.

The helmet comes with the standard P2 7-pad interior and the R3 chin strap system with BOA from Team Wendy.

The Dutch Armed Forces have introduced this helmet in 4 sizes, namely: S, M, L and XL.
The chin strap system has been introduced in 2 sizes, namely: S / M and L / XL.
The specimen shown here is a size M with chin strap system size S / M.
