The Combat Helmet, Composite (m95)
The composite Combat Helmet, also called m95, was introduced in 1996 and is produced by INDYCO.
The Dutch m95 has a typical safety clasp on the right side of the chin strap. This is of the same model that was also used on the troop helmet m53.The safety closure ensures that the chin strap snaps off as soon as tension is applied, so that the risk of suffocation of the wearer is very small. The chin strap of the para helmets has a lock on the safety clasp. Go to the page Para helmets to view the M95 para helmet.
Model adapted for Crowd and Riot Control (CRC).These are issued to soldiers who were assigned a CRC task during deployment or assistance.
On both sides a mounting has been applied, on which a screen can be mounted. The screen is missing on this helmet.
