Model 1938 (m38) helmets
A m38 as they were produced from mid 1939 until May 1940.
The m38 was introduced to the Military Police in 1939.
The m38 helmets delivered to the Military Police were painted black.
The m38 with anchor was introduced to the Royal Navy and Marines in 1937.
This helmet is an original helmet, but the anchor has been removed. Later on, a post-war anchor was placed and, unfortunally, a small hole was drilled. The post-war anchor has been removed.
