Dutch helmets used by the Romanian Armed Forces

Between 1938 and 1943, approximately 800,000 model m38 helmets were delivered to the Romanian Armed Forces. Until 1941, the helmets were delivered with a Romanian creast at the front and from 1941 the helmets were delivered without the creast. In addition to the regular delivery of Verblifa, a limited number of captured Dutch helmets were also delivered to the Romanian armed forces.

The Romanian m38 is also called the Casca de Otal, model Olandez.

At the end of 1944, a helmet emblem with the coat of arms of King Carol was placed and the helmet was painted in a light olive green color. Interior has been replaced, everything periodically original.
